Okay, so I’m the first to admit that I don’t know where the term “keeping it regular” comes from. What is ‘regular anyway and if you aren’t ‘regular’ then does that make you ‘irregular’? Regardless of the term the issue of constipation is a real struggle for many people. I’ve been fortunate enough to never battle with this but I do know that when I don’t answer to natures call and delay this daily process that I feel the pressure later in the day and feel the negative effects. Most people know all too well the downside to constipation but what stands out for me is that it makes you feel sluggish.

While I can’t fully relate to this issue I can at least share a few ways to overcome it. There are many methods out there to tackle this from eating bran cereal daily to taking pills that will get your stomach working. I can’t say I agree with these as sustainable methods to treat this problem but my solution will be healthier focused.
I’ve discussed ‘rebooting’ in a previous blog and I pointed out than when you begin juicing you will find that within the first few days your stomach simply wants to cleanse itself out. Of course, with rebooting I’ve advocated only juicing and eating nuts for the first few days, which bombards your body with all the healthy micro-nutrients it desperately needs. There are numerous ingredients for juicing but the three top items for getting your stomach working are spinach, kale, and beetroot. Below are some of the juices I recommend for doing the job:
Beet-ini
1 orange
1 spring mint
1 beetroot
1 apple
Just Beet It
1 cucumber
2 pears
1 inch ginger
2 beetroots
Un-Beet-Able
1 inch ginger
1 beetroot
4 leaves kale
1 apple
3 carrots
Green Lemonade
½ cucumber
1 green apple
8 leaves kale
2 ribs celery
1 lemon
2 handfuls spinach
I juice every day and apart from all the healthy benefits from vegetables and fruits my stomach never blocks up so why not give this ago and put those laboratory created tablets aside?
